Shortly after learning of the selection of the MYSUN project for funding by the European Commission, the Malaysian partners met in at Putra Learning Space (PLS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), on 23 August 2019 for a preliminary meeting. The attendance of representatives of all Malaysian partners to this initial meeting shows their high commitment towards MYSUN project.

During the meeting, UPM as the Project Coordinator presented the general overview of the project and briefed each Work Package’s tasks and deliverables. MYSUN Malaysian Partners which include UPM, UTM, MMU, UiTM, UMP, UMS, UNIMAS and UUM agreed to meet again before the KOM meeting in March 2020.
