During the past year, between travel restrictions and stay at home orders, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a great impact on international cooperation projects such as MYSUN. The MYSUN partners were supposed to come to Italy for a study visit into Savona Campus (University of Genoa) to learn about the sustainability experience.  Since travel remains impossible, the event has been organized online from February 3rd to 4th, 2021. 

Through the use of Live Event tool of Microsoft Teams, UNIGE staff has been able to share with the MYSUN partners the experience on sustainability policies and to show many examples of research projects dealing with sustainability, developed in partnership with other universities, companies and local/national authorities.

The Savona study visit has been organized in two days. The first day has been focused on sustainability management policies in the University of Genoa, while in the second day the attention has been put on the practices and projects carried out in Savona Campus in the last years. Some interactive sessions have also been organized during the two days, to show Liguria’s beauties … so that all the MYSUN partners could take a small taste of Italy and (virtually) of its delicious food!
